Artist, VR Technologies


We are looking for an extraordinary artist with experience and expertise in 3D development using Unity engine.

Profile

  • Collaborate with other members of the team and model + texture high-quality environment, props and character assets (high-poly and low-poly versions)
  • Suggest new ideas and participate in the overall development of artistic direction with any required graphic references
  • Deliver high-quality art assets and ensure their efficient integration
  • Work in small, fast paced, iterative team environments to develop cutting edge products
  • Support other team members in any ad hoc tasks and duties
  • Work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Write art design documents, for milestones as well as internal use
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on 3D art asset development experience in the video-game industry
  • Experience with a real time engine like Unreal Engine or Unity
  • Extensive knowledge of Photoshop, 3ds MAX and ZBrush
  • Extensive knowledge of maps creation (albedo map, metallic map, normal map, ambient occlusion map, etc.)
  • Strong modelling, UV and texturing skills
  • Ability to develop and work on different art styles
  • Experience with projects that involved a lot of changes
  • Experience with Substance Painter will be considered as a plus
  • Well versed with rapid prototyping & agile development methodology
  • Self-motivated, proactive, positive attitude and a genuine team player
  • Desire to share knowledge and be open to learn from others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take feedback well
